In previous blogs, we wrote about financial professionals getting into social media & showed examples in financial planning as well as real estate. In this blog, let’s take a look at the financial services consumer. Who are financial service consumers looking for online? What are their top google searches when looking online for a financial professional?
Using Google’s Adwords tool on 25 search terms from “financial advisor” to “real estate agent”, results showed monthly searches on these 25 terms alone exceeded 9M (updated on Sep 9 2011). That is more than 100M searches a year for 25 terms excluding non-Google searches and non-US searches!
